Our planet from space

Just came across this website on StumbleUpon.  It's a collection of amazing pictures taken from the international space station by an astronaut (check the link, you won't regret it).

Looking down from space, Earth is nothing like we imagine it to be. There are no borders seen. You cannot tell the difference between countries of different religions. There are no wars, no two countries firing rockets and bombs. There's just humanity, the oceans, the deserts and the cites full of us, humans.

From space, the part of the world where I live. So peaceful.

The irony? In the comments section, some people arguing over religion and race.

  1. Like I tell my friend, "we were born too late or too early".
The things I would give up to be able to travel to space and across the planets...
Makes you feel small doesn't it... :p
